Privacy Policy

1. Data controller

2. Data collected
Through the contact form: type of client (new or existing), company tax number, name, phone number, email and message. The date and time of the request are also recorded. To prevent abuse, the IP address is stored only in hashed form and for a short period. We do not collect special categories of data.
3. Purpose and legal basis
The data is used to respond to your request (quote, support contract, technical support or information), record it in BITSHOPNET's internal request management system, assign it to a technician and follow it through to completion. If you are already a client, the request is linked to your company's record through its tax number. Processing is based on pre-contractual steps taken at your request and, for clients, on the performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), as well as on the consent given in the form (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
4. Where the data is stored
Data submitted through the form is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and goes straight from the website server to BITSHOPNET's internal request management system, hosted on the same server, where a ticket is opened. It is neither sent by email nor stored on the website.
5. Who has access
Only BITSHOPNET staff with access credentials, to the extent needed to handle the request. The hosting providers BITSHOPNET uses process the data solely on our behalf, as processors, and are required to protect it. The data is not sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
6. Retention
Data is kept while the request is open and, if no business relationship follows, for up to 2 years after the last contact, after which it is deleted. If the request leads to a contract or invoicing, the retention periods required by law apply.
7. Security
The connection to the website and the form submission are encrypted (HTTPS), the form is protected against automated submissions, and access to the request management system requires authentication and is restricted by user roles.
8. Your rights
You may request access to, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, including deletion of the record in the request management system, or object to its processing, by writing to comercial@bitshopnet.com. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority, CNPD (cnpd.pt).

11. CLAUDIO client area
The CLAUDIO client area (bitshopnet.com/claudio) is a separate service with its own privacy and cookie policy and terms of use (in Portuguese), which explain how data is processed (questions, attached files and the log of operations carried out in the company's software), the use of artificial intelligence, the rules for changes and payment orders made through the assistant and the cookies needed to sign in.
